MetaMask is one of the most popular browser extensions in the crypto economy and it serves as a way to store your Ethereum and other ERC-20 tokens. The extension is free and secure, and allows web applications to read and interact with the Ethereum blockchain and other networks such as Binance Smart Chain, Polygon and Celo.

If you want to be part of the crypto world, you need to create a wallet to interact with web3.

Step 1. Install MetaMask in your browser.

To create a MetaMask wallet you need to first install the extension in your browser. Official website link: https://metamask.io/

In this tutorial, we will use Google Chrome as an example, but the same steps also apply to different browsers.

Click on Download Now Install MetaMask for Chrome

Click on “Use in Chrome”. Add Extension.

Click on the pin to fix the extension to your browser.
