NFT documentation and property deeds

We have received significant interest on our Amazon Forest NFTs, which are the first in History to allow easy access to purchase of rights related to PROPERTY and protection of actual forested land, with its trees and all wonders of biodiversity.

As with any innovation, breaking new ground and creating new ways of transacting generates many questions and doubts. Many have asked about evidence of the property rights backing the NFTs. We have received requests for access to the underlying legal documents proving ownership of the property. People are also questioning about what it means to hold a NFT: if they can build on it, deforest, resell, if this property ownership is recognized by local authorities, etc.

Below we show all the documents supporting the transaction for Moss ownership of the land and corresponding registration in the local notary offices and government agencies.

Moss is a Cayman Holding with subsidiaries in Uruguay (Lirdes SA) and a fully owned Brazilian subsidiary called “Terra Vista Gestora de Recursos LTDA” (CNPJ or Brazilian federal tax ID 17.610.393.0001–58). Our headquarters are in the export zone (zona franca) in Uruguay’s capital Montevideo, which has become a hub for many Latin American technology companies like Globant or the back office of giants like Amazon.com, JP Morgan, Mercado Libre and Tata.

One can find the tax ID filing and official data on Terra Vista on the Sao Paulo Trade Board (Jucesp) site: https://www.jucesponline.sp.gov.br/Valida_Ficha.aspx

Terra Vista Gestora de Recursos LTDA has already acquired the “Blue River” land and filed the transfer at the local notary office.

The Brazilian government requires all 25 million rural properties to upload to its system a vectorial polygon file (“shape file” or shp) containing the coordinates (latitude and longitude) and most updated ownership information. The following is the system for Para state:

The property’s “CAR” or “Cadastro Ambiental Rural” (Rural Environmental Filing) ID is the following (entering this ID on the website above will show the area’s “shp” file and registration information):

PA-1503754–05ED.4158.DD30.48AE.88A4.99BE.BFFB.2A9B

Below are snapshots of the document filed on the Para State system:

We are currently carrying out the red tape for the filing / uploading information of our ownership on the Para state system, this information should become available soon — we will update the community on the social media channels.
